The Film Circle Family
One thing you should know about me is that I am a huge film geek.
I love watching movies, specifically those that are visually-appealing. What can I say? I’m a sucker for good cinematography. I’m always seeking films to watch from all around the world, old and new, so imagine my excitement upon finding out that there was a club all about that! I was glued to my phone the day of extracurricular applications so I could secure a spot as soon as they went online. I had to be competitive, because apparently it was one of the hottest clubs on campus. I had to wait longer than I was supposed to as the site had crashed but thankfully, it was worth it as I made it in!
Now, I am a proud member of the club’s high-com. The club and all the people in it have definitely been one of my ultimate favourite things about Dengkil. Although the activities have ended for this semester, it’s always nice to look back upon all the good memories we had together. So in the spirit of good (no, great) cinema let's take a look at some of the awesome activities that went on in the club this semester which included:
-Film Circle Festival (2 days, 40 movies non-stop. I was one of the hall leaders! Free movies and free cocu marks- tell me who would pass that up?)
-The official club movie screenings (we watched Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck, Hichki and Parasite)
-Parti Buih (pizza + desserts + White Chicks. Enough said)
